Iowa GOP Chairman Congratulates John Archer
on Winning the 2nd Congressional District Primary

DES MOINES, Iowa– The Republican Party of Iowa released the following statement from Chairman, A.J. Spiker in response to the results of the 2nd Congressional District Primary.

“I would like to congratulate John Archer on winning the Republican Party’s nomination for the Second Congressional District. With outstanding leaders in Congress like John we will be able to turn this country around, balance our federal budget and restore a prosperous future to our children and grandchildren.

“With Congressman Loebsack’s primary challenger receiving a significant portion of the vote, it is clear that Iowa Democrats are fed up with Nancy Pelosi’s puppet Loebsack. I look forward to working with John Archer to unseat Congressman Loebsack and send a strong conservative to Washington to work alongside Congressman Latham and Congressman King.”
