Iowa GOP Chair Congratulates
Iowa House and Senate Primary Winners

DES MOINES, Iowa– The Republican Party of Iowa released the following statement from Iowa GOP Chair A.J. Spiker in response to today’s primary results:

“I would like to congratulate all the Republican Iowa House and Senate primary winners. I look forward to working with House Speaker Paulsen and all the House nominees to increase the Republican majority in the Iowa House.

“This year we passed the Democrats in voter registration for the first time in six years and I know that our numbers will only increase. Working with Senate Leader Behn and our Senate candidates, I look forward to strengthening our Party and taking back the Iowa Senate for Republicans this fall.”
