Iowa GOP Chairman Responds to
Vice President Biden’s Visit to Iowa
DES MOINES, Iowa– The Republican Party of Iowa released the following statement from Iowa GOP Chairman A.J. Spiker in response to Vice President Biden’s visit to Iowa:
“Today in Dubuque Vice President Biden said that ‘it’s a depression for millions and millions of Americans.’ Well, Vice President Biden is certainly right. After three years of President Obama’s failed economic policies, families are still struggling to put food on the table, put gas in their cars and send their kids to college. Iowans simply cannot afford four more years of massive federal spending, higher taxes and record unemployment. Iowa was the state that launched President Obama in 2008 and rest assured Iowa will be the state that sends him packing in 2012.â€
