Victory 2012 to Open Ames Headquarters
AMES, Iowa– Congressman Steve King (R-Kiron) and Iowa Victory 2012 today announced the opening of a joint victory headquarters in Ames, Iowa. The office will officially open Wednesday, May 23, 2012.
“With the opening of this office in Ames, we’re establishing a command center to ensure we’re effectively coordinating our work and outreach in the 4th District,†said King.  “This office will help our campaign connect with voters in northwest and north central Iowa. That’s important work, because with all four living generations of the King family born and living in the 4th District, my roots in this district run deep.”
The office is located at 711 East Lincoln Way in Ames.
“Iowa Republicans have made great strides in recent months by overtaking the Democrats’ voter registration advantage,†said Republican Party of Iowa Chairman A.J. Spiker. “Iowa Republicans are not satisfied with just owning the voter registration advantage. We will not rest until Republicans take back the Iowa Senate, defeat President Obama and send Congressman King back to Washington to balance our budget and create an environment that is favorable to job growth.â€
In addition, the King for Congress Campaign will hold an office grand opening party on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 5 p.m. The following event is open to the public and credentialed members of the media:
