Chairman A.J. Spiker on Vice President Biden’s Visit to Iowa State University Today
Des Moines –
“One of the most important moral issues of this election is making sure hardworking people can provide for their families and build a prosperous future for their children and grandchildren. After spending trillions of dollars on failed jobs policies and distracting small businesses with burdensome new regulations, the Obama Administration has not offered serious solutions to fix our ailing economy.â€
“An overwhelming majority of Iowans agree that this administration’s policies have not made them better off. In fact, according to a recent Des Moines Register poll, 64 percent of Iowans think the country is going down the wrong track and 58 percent disapprove of President Obama’s handling of the economy. The administration is clearly concerned about winning Iowa in the fall, but no number of campaign stops can distract voters from its disastrous record.â€
