The Delaware County Republican Central Committee is now accepting applications for its annual scholarship contest. Applicants must have a principal residence in Delaware County, be a senior at the time of application, and be a registered voter at the time the funds for the scholarship are awarded. Students interested in the $500 award must complete an application, including a 500 word essay on the topic, “Why I am Proud to be an American.” Scholarship applications are available from area high school guidance counselors on on this website.  Please click here for a copy of the application.  The file is labeled “Scholarship Application 2013”.
