Iowa GOP Chairman Issues Call for

Special Nominating Convention in House District 33

 

DES MOINES – Republican Party of Iowa Chairman A.J. Spiker today issued the call for a special nominating convention for House District 33 in Des Moines. The Special Nominating Convention will be used to fill a vacancy on the ballot.

The details of the convention are as follows:

The convention will be called to order by State Central Committee member Gopal Krishna. Twelve Polk County Central Committee members, who represent precincts in House District 33, are eligible to be voting delegates at the convention.

 

Delegates to the Special Nominating Convention will receive the Chairman’s call via U.S. mail.
