Communications Director Mills to Leave Iowa GOP for Business School

AMES- Iowa GOP Chairman Matt Strawn announced this afternoon that Communications Director Casey Mills was departing his service to the state GOP immediately to attend Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.  Strawn expressed his gratitude for Mills’ service and wished him well in his next endeavor.

“I’m grateful for Casey’s service to the Iowa GOP. He has been a true leader in Iowa’s Republican resurgence,” said Strawn. “Casey is one of Iowa’s best and brightest, and I’m proud of his acceptance to such a prestigious institution. I wish him and Emily the best on this next adventure in their lives.”

Mills thanked Chairman Strawn for the opportunity to serve the Iowa GOP.

“Leaving the Iowa GOP comes with a heavy heart as it has been an honor to serve the party and promote our ‘First in the Nation’ caucus process,” said Mills.  “As evidenced by the events of this week, Chairman Strawn manages a first-class operation and Iowa Republicans are well-served under his leadership.  The future for the Iowa GOP is bright, and I look forward to watching the party continue to grow from a distance.”
